11ONZE

ELEVEN.
September 11: Catalonia Day and the fall of the Torres Bessones.
11, number of floors of the building will be alive in the last six JM Espinàs.
11, master number of arts per excellence.
But above all, 11 are the petons that Olga showed to her father, in JM Espinàs while he was apprehensive to share.
11ONZE is a project by Vero Cendoya that explores, through dance, the universe of JM Espinàs based on two of his most notable books: “El teu nom és Olga” and “I la festa segueix”.
11ONZE, like the last 4 shows at Vero Cendoya, is an inclusive piece, intended to celebrate differences, and now represents a continuation of JM Espinàs' work for the normalization of people with Down Syndrome.
This task is about translating and presenting, using dance, the author's simple and forceful literature, and approaching a language of proper movement and carrying images.
Thoughts and memories full of humor that the three performers will present to the viewer through movement, paraula, and live music.
“I have had to think about who you are, who are your rights, that you are not like one of those — so many — people that in the scene of our life in us we are accustomed to see only as extres, as figures satè-l ·lit. I have tried to detach myself from my "jo" vision of the world so that I can understand that you are also a "center" of human life, that you are so "jo"—so protagonist, doncs, so unique and so "main" — in the teu univers com pugui ser-ho, in the seu, qualsevol altra persona.”
